Rebalancing represents a significant step in DEXTF’s asset management infrastructure. Dynamic funds enable Fund Managers to adapt their portfolio exposure to represent their current investment strategy. For investors, this means that exposure is current and of a higher quality.
Rather than investing in outdated funds that are inadequate in contemporary market conditions, investors will be notified on Telegram and Discord (#⚖️rebalancing-notifications) when a rebalancing is about to take place and they may withdraw or participate in the upgrading of the asset weightings.
In this tutorial, you will learn
- option of static and dynamic while creating a fund
- how to begin the rebalancing process
- how to set the slippage/ target price
- how to revert the asset allocation
- how to change asset weightings in your fund
- how to broadcast proposal to investors
Below is the sequence of steps:
From now on- when creating a new fund you are given the option to make a Static (cannot be rebalanced) or Dynamic (can be rebalanced) fund. However, you can activate the rebalancing module on all XTF2 fund tokens prior to this announcement.
1. Click ‘Rebalance’ as a Fund Manager to begin the process

2. Set the Slippage/Target price to a level that will incentivize your investors to rebalance. The lower the new price is the more money investors will make from the rebalancing (the quicker the rebalancing is completed).
